Walice and Gromit - the curse of the Were-rabbit
Went to see Wallace and Gromit - the curse of the were-rabbit on Saturday. Very funny, defiantly worth watching whether your are young or old. The story is basically about the annual giant vegetable contest...Wallace and Gromit have a business to keep the rabbits away from the veg...but in the process, something goes wrong....
I reckon there are some good bits we could use on the theme of temptation, vegetarianism and rivalry:
I reckon there are some good bits we could use on the theme of temptation, vegetarianism and rivalry:
- About a third through he film, Wallace is in Lady Tottinton's greenhouse (up Jacobs ladder)...he experiences an overwhelming desire to eat all the food...temptation...big carrots...
- Lady Tottinton is clearly against killing rabbits...Victor want to kill them all..you could watch the first part of the film to introduce the subject of animal rights etc.?
- Wallace becomes a kind of Jackal and Hide...what are the 'monsters' hiding inside of us?
- Through out the film Victor shows signs of jealousy towards Wallace...
