Having a bad day...Plains, Trains and Automobiles
I've just uploaded my talk entitled Having a Bad day. This is a different version on the What does God think of me talk. While updating this page I noticed that the readings we omitted from this talk - this should now work.

Prayer A...Z
I've seen this used at a conference I attended some years ago. The idea is to distribute sheets around the room, one for each letter on the alphabet. Then invite people to move around the room a pray about something related to that letter of the alphabet.

Sects and Cults Podcast
Check out the Sects and Cults Podcast at: http://www.liberty.edu/media/1162/audio/podcast.xml
Unlike many xian podcasts on these issues, this is much more objective and presents a more balanced argument on what each of the "sects" or "cults" are about.
You can find this feed listed in iTunes - search for sects and cults. Their website is http://www.liberty.edu/

Justice talk / Murder Mystery
I've just uploaded my talk on Justice that we did in connection with a murder mystery night a few years ago. We recently did another Murder Mystery night using a bought in script called Murder on the Dance floor - it seemed to work well. Has anyone else out there tried one of these game packs?

I just had an email from someone asking about resources about sex ed etc. Here are a few interesting places to look:
- Faithworks Esteem
- Romance academy
- Care's Pregnancy Crisis Centres
- The FPA do loads of leaflets. If you ring them up they should send you some samples free of charge. We found the Below the Bra, Below the belt, Pregnancy: A young persons guide quite good

Criminal Justice System - walk throughs
Check out http://www.cjsonline.org/sitemap/index.html
This gives a list of "walk through's" for various situations, such as what happens if someone is arrested, how bail works etc. It looks quite good.

Place mat / news sheet template
Yesterday we did a "Soup lunch" fund raiser after the family service. The idea is to raise money and to update people on what we are up to. To this end, I made this double sided place mat for each person there. Please feel free to use it.
