Tonight we’re going to be talking about news…

Which of these would you find hard to believe?
The Bible speaks of Good news…Jesus says this…
Mark 1:14:15 ”…Jesus went into Galilee, preaching the Good News from God. He said,
‘The right time has come. The kingdom of God is near. Change you hearts
and lives and believe the Good news!’ ”
What is this Good news that Jesus speak of?
Romans 5:8-9 (Changed the word Christ to Jesus) ”…God shows his great love for us in this way: Jesus died for us while we
were still sinners. So through Jesus we will surely be saved from God’s
anger, because we have been made right with God by the blood of Jesus’
death. While we were God’s enemies, he made friends with us through the
death of his Son [Jesus]. Surely, now that we are his friends, he will save
us through his Son’s life”
In other words…if we want to be God’s friend…somebody has to take the
blame for the stuff we do wrong…
That person is Jesus…God’s own Son
By taking the blame we are able to get to know God…to receive help from
the person who made us…
